We hold a number of different workshops throughout the year, here are some of our more frequent workshops.
Recall Workshop
Is your recall as good as Fenton’s, need to refresh your recall or want have different methods of recall? Come along to our workshop where we’ll give you the tools to real recall!
Loose Lead Walking
Does your dog always seem to pull like a tank, feel like you’re going to have one arm longer than the other? This workshop is designed to get you and your dog in sync when it comes to walking on lead.
UK Sniffer Dog Class
Join this multi-session workshop to engage your dog in scent training. It’s fun and helps manage distraction or reactivity. Scent work uses their natural sense of smell, providing mental and physical stimulation for dogs of all breeds and ages.
UK Sniffer Dogs Bronze Level
Series 1
Bronze Level is our introductory level, with the complete level being delivered in two separate series, for a more flexible option to ongoing classes.
In this our Series 1 – we kickstart your scent journey covering, scent pairing, indication on scent, line up search and chair searches.
This workshop is approximately 3hrs
Series 1 is a standalone workshop and does not have to be booked with Series 2.

UK Sniffer Dogs Bronze Level
Series 2
Series 2 of our UK Sniffer Dogs Bronze Level – only available to dogs/handlers that have completed Series 1.
In this series we look at merging scent training, improving the indication, bag searches, novel/vehicle searches.
This workshop is approximately 3hrs
On completion of Series 2 dog and handler will be eligible to compete in Bronze Level Trials.

Our Philosophy & Ethics
I am a force-free dog trainer who uses science based, positive reinforcement techniques in training. Focusing on rewarding and reinforcing desired behaviours.
The goal being to help dogs learn and thrive in a positive and compassionate environment, creating a harmonious relationship between dogs and their humans. There are no bad dogs, there are no lost causes, there are no punishments and most importantly no judgement!
Puppy

Puppy Classes
Our five week puppy course is designed for puppies under six months old. It has been designed to give your puppy the life skills to be a happy family member and comfortable in the wider world, while keeping it fun and informative.
Puppy Socialisation (8-12) Weeks
These 45-minute drop-in sessions are for puppies aged 4-6 months, supporting ongoing socialisation and development. Held in a safe, relaxed environment, a trainer guides you through socialisation, body language, and confidence building. Ideal as a precursor or complement to puppy classes.
Puppy Socialisation (3-6) Months
These 45-minute drop-in sessions are for puppies aged 8-12 weeks, capturing early socialisation before outdoor walks. In a safe, relaxed environment, a trainer guides you through socialisation, body language, and confidence building. Perfect as a precursor or complement to puppy classes.
Puppy Package Recurring
Four sessions to help you introduce a puppy to your home with basic training and socialisation. Ideal for puppies 8-12 weeks, or as prep for puppy classes. Packages can be tailored for older puppies if preferred.

Hi, I'm Kelly - Dax’s Human and Founder of Dax’s Doggos
- I started my journey working with dogs years ago, having pet dogs as well as fostering many dogs of all ages and breeds. However, when a dog called Dax came into our lives, a very sensitive dog who needed a very different approach. He inspired me to do more, do better and learn more. Our journey with Dax made me realise that I wanted to help others with their dog training, to set them up for success and so Dax’s Doggos was born.

Individual Training
If you have a specific training issues that you would like help with, we offer individual training sessions. Tailored to you and your dogs’ needs at a time and place that best suits you.
Training Walks Recurring
Is your dog a dream until the lead goes on? Do they pull you off your feet? Are they wary or over excited around other people or dogs on their walks? Are you unsure when it comes to off lead time? Playing on walks with your dog or just want a confidence boost to make your walks more enjoyable. We can offer training walks to for ‘in the moment’ training and practical advice.
Consultation
Dax’s Doggo’s offers training classes, workshops, and home visits for basic training, new dog integration, and habit correction. Start with a no-obligation consultation to discuss your needs, prepare a training plan, and determine if we’re the right fit for you.

All I can say is that Kelly is amazing and everything about our dog sitting experience far exceeded expectations. Her love for dogs is tangible and her knowledge is incredible - and it was a bonus that she was happy to share tips and ideas to help us. The most telling thing for us is that Basil was the same dog as he was before we left to go on holiday so he’d clearly been a happy boy and not had any major routine changes (before the sit Kelly is meticulous about going through routine etc). He’d previously had the experience of one night in kennels and took 5 weeks to recover! This was a challenging sit in many ways but Kelly coped with everything wonderfully. It was great to receive daily updates/photos/videos while we were away. She also looked after the house brilliantly - it was immaculate! I would wholeheartedly recommend Kelly -we all thought she was great, but especially Basil - he has a new best friend!
